Nuestros intereses científicos se basan en tanto el estudio de la susceptibilidad genética a enfermedades complejas, como el melanoma, así como a la comprensión de desregulación genómica en tumores sólidos como el cáncer de mama en mujeres jóvenes. También estamos implicados en la caracterización de la genética y alteraciones epigenéticas que juegan un papel en el cáncer gástrico, específicamente en los subgrupos positivos de inestabilidad y virus de Epstein Bar.

Our scientific interests are based on both the study of genetic susceptibility to complex diseases, such as melanoma, as well as the understanding of genomic deregulation in solid tumors, specially Breast Cancer in Young Women. We are also involved in the characterization of genetics and epigenetic alterations that play a role in gastric cancer, specifically in the positive subgroups of Epstein Bar virus and instability.
